A key QVC experience is in transformational programs.  We have led transformations in different industry sectors including recently ICT, banking and local government.  QVC has tried and tested products to help analyse the requirements and develop new processes.  We also have key partnerships with best practice organisations outside of the project management field.

Assured Outcomes

Key deliverables or products developed by our people are peer reviewed by senior QVC staff at no additional cost to the customer.  This is a QVC standard practice and helps us to always deliver a great outcome for our customers.

Performance Appraisals

All significant assignments undergo an appraisal process at least once.  Usually within 6 weeks of commencement and then later on as required.  This is an internal quality assurance and engages the customer’s management to ensure QVC is on the right track.

Methods & Process

Because all we do is project and program management, we make it our business to be expert in every method and technique possible.  QVC will be able to work with your methodology and tools or we won’t take on the assignment including Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) and the Standard for Program Management (PMI).  QVC has excellent relationships with the key authors of these publications.

Vision, Blueprint and Business Case

Included in our experience set is the development of vision, blueprint and business cases.  We deliver concise documents that contain only the relevant information required.  All the ‘noise’ is edited out, leaving stakeholders with a refreshingly simple document to review.  Part of our success with business cases is the stakeholder engagement.  Our clear, straightforward communication and ability to understand the business context enables our people to translate workshops and meetings into a clear business case.

Business Benefits

QVC uses its own benefits management framework that has been developed and continually improved over the past ten years. The framework is scalable to the customer based on their level of project management maturity.  The framework enables identification of benefits through a set form, approval of benefits ready for insertion to the business case and tracking of benefits throughout the project execution.  Benefits realisation is the final component of the framework.

Skills Transfer

At QVC we understand the importance of embedding intellectual property within the customer’s business.  Our reputation depends on how successful we are in achieving this.  We always try to bring our customer’s people along the journey and ensure there is an adequate handover when appropriate.
